SHC 2013 ends on a high note: Solar heating and cooling has big role to play in buildings and industry
>> press release

Thank you!

SHC 2013, the second conference in a series of international conferences on solar heating and cooling for buildings and industry, was held successfully in Freiburg, Germany!

We were happy to welcome some 400 participants from 37 countries around the world. We enjoyed 10 keynotes, 90 oral presentations and 140 poster presentations, followed by vivid discussions and networking opportunities during lunches, coffee breaks and at the extraordinary conference dinner. The technical tours attracted great interest and completed the program on the 3rd conference day.

We would like to thank all authors for their high quality contributions. Also many thanks to the scientific committee for their dedicated support with the reviewing procedure and to all our sponsors who helped to make this conference possible.

We look forward to meeting you again at SHC 2014 in Beijing, China on October 27-29, 2014. We look forward to seeing you there!?

Dr. Hans-Martin Henning, Fraunhofer ISE, Scientific Chair of SHC 2013
Xavier Noyon, ESTIF, Industry Chair of SHC 2013
Werner Weiss, AEE INTEC, Chairman of the IEA SHC Program
